Why Morita’s School of Dance?

We are excited to be celebrating our 54th year! At Morita’s, we are all about making dance a fun and enjoyable experience for our dancers! Our dance studio is the perfect place for a young child to take their very first dance class and a professional environment for the more serious dancer to receive professional training. Located in Hermon, Dover Foxcroft and Old Town, Maine, we offer tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe and more for ages walking through adult! Private lessons, Ballroom lessons and custom wedding reception dance choreography sessions can be scheduled as well!

Our Mission
​
At Morita’s School of Dance we offer professional dance instruction to students age walking through adult. Since 1968, we have shared our love of dance with hundreds of children and adults and our faculty takes this responsibility very seriously. Our mission is to provide dancers of all ages a program of quality training in all forms of dance, creating well rounded dancers who are well trained in various styles.

Through our outstanding dance classes and performances, we teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, respect, hard work and responsibility. Skills that will last our dancers a lifetime in whatever path they choose. Offering a positive, non-competitive and fun atmosphere ensures our students gain confidence both on and off the stage. All students are valued for their own abilities and uniqueness as we strive to share the joy of dancing!

Friday: CLOSED
Saturday: 9:00am-2:00pm
Studio hours above begin September 6th. Hours vary during our Winter Break. Please contact the studio by phone or e-mail to check studio hours between those dates.
